I am excited to perform your ceremony!
Please complete the form below so we can plan and book your ceremony. Here are instructions on completing specific fields.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE COUPLE:
Please provide some basic information about yourselves. There are questions about your background that are optional, but could help me refine your ceremony script.
Each ceremony consists of the following.
- a reflection related to the theme
- reading (if you provide one)
- your vows
- your declaration of intent/I Dos (legally required) & exchange of the rings
- pronouncement and public presentation of your marriage (legally required)
Choose a Package:
The first four questions are related to which package you are selecting and whether it is taking place during an in-season or off-season month. The first two questions are for packages that DO NOT include photography and the second two questions pertain to packages that DO include photography. Your answer to three of the four questions should be the first option presented, that the package you are selecting is not included in the options for that question. One of your answers to the four questions will be your package selection.
For example, if you were booking the Choose Your Own Adventure Package on a weekend during an on-season month, you would select that option for the first question which pertains to on-season packages without photography, and then choose the first option for each of the other three package questions.
In-season weddings take place in March, April, May, September, October or November. Off-season weddings take place in June, July, August, December, January or February. Weekend weddings take place after 5PM on Fridays and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Choose a Theme:
If you are selecting a package other than Tracy’s Choice, you can pick a theme for your ceremony: Traditional, Romantic, Spiritual, Playful, or Inspirational. Each ceremony may reflect elements of all the themes, but primarily focuses on one.
You can review samples of ceremonies I have performed for various themes, too.
Here is more information about each theme.
Your standard and solid civil wedding ceremony.
Example language: “…to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health…”
Romantic ceremonies focus on love as its primary theme.
Example language: “… I give you this ring as a sign of my devotion and love and with all my heart I promise to you, all that I am…”
A spiritual ceremony reflects on marriage as more than a commitment to each other in the present, but about sharing life’s journey together. This requires faith, whether that is God or another higher being or universal force.
Example language: “…We cannot join ourselves to one another without giving our word. And this must be an unconditional giving, for in joining ourselves to one another, we join ourselves to the unknown …”
My playful ceremonies borrow heavily from pop culture and children’s literature. It’s a great way to emphasize the fun and raw joy of an elopement- bringing a childlike wonder is important to a successful marriage!
Example language: “… Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to great places- you’re off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. And you know what you know. And YOU are the couple who’ll decide where to go…”
Marriage is a new chapter in the journey of you. It is about creating something new, without letting go of your identity, and supporting each other with your hopes, dreams, and common objectives. The inspirational ceremony is a great option for the couple who wants to reflect the desires of a modern marriage.
Example language:“… Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction…”
Public Pronouncement of Marriage
Legally, I need to publicly pronounce you married, even if it is only the 3 of us. Please let me know how you would like to be announced.
“[Bride First Name] and [Groom First Name] have expressed their love to one another through the commitment and promises they have just made. I now pronounce Mr. and Mrs. [Groom Last Name] as a newly married couple. You may kiss the bride!”
“By the authority vested in me by the State of Georgia, I now pronounce [Spouse First Name] and [Spouse First Name] spouses forever. You may seal your commitment with a kiss!”
Please let me know of any additional preferences you may have for the ceremony, including intention language, optional readings, or other information you think would be helpful.
